Collet Handle Woodturning Tool For Easy Steel Removal

We have exciting news for the wood turning world! There is now finally going to be a true Collet type handle, this will allow for steel removal for grinding and travel. Also possible will be interchangeability to save on handle costs.

We will post updates on production as it becomes available.

   Hello Hannes,

   Just bought my second “Hannis Tool Gouge” at Totally Turning. Tried to say hi, but you were always surrounded by customers. I hope the crowd was in indication of how your tool business is doing. I picked up the 5/8″ steel with the large collet handle. My 3/8″ tool has become my go to tool for final cuts. Love the “Michelsen Grind”. I can’t wait to get home to try out the 5/8″ tool.

     A couple of posts were lost in cyberspace till now yours was one of them, sorry about no responce till now.
     Great to hear the —my go to tool— statement again, can’t get enough of that!

     Sorry you weren’t able to get thru the “crowd” to say hi it would have been nice to connect, maybe next time.

     Hope you are as satisfied with your 5/8 tool as you are with 3/8 go to!

     Are you able to do the grind OK on your own? You are welcome to come to Manchester for a visit and a little clinic anytime you like, hope to see you soon.
